At Lil’ Chit-Chat, helping children with speech-language development begins as young as 18 months of age. Our therapy is play-based with an emphasis on parent training. Lil’Chit-Chat believes that parents are their child’s ultimate teacher so they are engaged in therapy from start to finish. We provide structured therapy sessions that are goal driven in a fun encouraging environment.
Through a play-based therapy model, children are taught appropriate play skills while building foundational language. Through the therapy process, children begin to understand what their family is asking of them and verbally expressing their wants and needs. Developments of social connections are established as well.
